Class Descriptions

Classical Hatha

Classical postures, with a slower pace allowing you to work more on alignment. Each Class is a full body workout, while focusing on breath.

Hot Power Vinyasa

Vigourous vinyasa class that builds upper body strength, flexibility and stamina. Designed for students of all levels seeking a challenge. Room is heated between 38 and 42 degrees Celsius.

Vinyasa Flow

Integrates alignment and intuition, strength and fluidity, meditation and wisdom...in action.

Ashtanga

A challenging physical practice, focusing on breath and dristi (focal points). Fast paced and fun for all levels.

Classes at LLHYKarma Yoga

Eclectic flow integrating many different styles of yoga. Classes are by donation. Proceeds from each class go to local charities.

Prenatal Yoga

An emphasis on increasing body and breath awareness, learning pain management, prenatal bonding, and relaxation techniques to promote the well- being of yourself and baby. Partners welcome of course.

Yoga For Kids

A 45min fun and interactive flow. Perfect for any child with an imagination, who craves fun and movement. (Suitable for ages 5-11)

Teen Yoga

A practice to balance the mind, hormones and physical body. A challenging physical class that also focuses on calming the stressed out student mind.

Yin Yoga

Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect compliment to the dynamic and (yang) muscular styles of yoga. Yin generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Most poses are held for between 3 and 5 minutes.

Wake Up Hot Yoga

The best time to practice yoga is in the morning. Refresh and energize yourself with this Hot Power flow and create a sense of joy, bliss and health that will last all day long. Its’ time to wake yourself up with the intense feeling of being alive!

Hot Restorative Yoga

Being the discover or rediscover of the action of your muscles. This class works to restore and maintain your range of motion. Will also id in relieving chronic muscle tension. A gentle class to increase self-awareness.

Gentle Therapeutic

This is a gentle restorative class, designed to accommodate those suffering from illness or injury. Clients learn yoga techniques to help relieve or manage pain and discomfort. Each class includes a combination of breathing (pranayama), gentle postures (asana) and meditation, with a focus on relaxing both the body and mind. All levels are welcome.

Mom and Baby

Enjoy a fun, playful time with other new mothers and their babies while learning yoga postures and simple breathing exercises to stretch, realign, strengthen and rejuvenate your mind and body. Designed to give the postpartum mother a challenging work out while enhancing the natural bond between mother and her baby. No experience necessary and you don’t need to have taken any yoga classes before. Everyone is welcome! (consult your doctor and please wait at least 6 weeks before attending)

Mom and Tot

Moms get to de-stress and children get exposed to yoga and have fun. The class creates an opportunity to bond in the sanctuary of a yoga studio. This class series is taught to be the adults and the kids participate how they want to. Our yoga practice does not wait for the perfect situation but inspires the skill of accepting things exactly as they are.

Fluid Power Flow

Come explore the power of this dynamic, rhythmic and energetic free-flowing class. Fluid Power yoga takes a unique approach to traditional Vinyasa poses, which become free-flowing like the water we are comprised of. This vigorous and energetic class is designed to build strength and flexibility, with the intensity of a hot power class without the extra heat.
